Software Developer

A hardware-focused product company in Brooklyn is looking for an independent software developer to work directly alongside its lead engineer across a growing slate of products. In this role you will work on full projects independently as well as on shared projects and and be given full creative freedom to execute projects from start to finish. It's a fit for a proactive, self-governing builder who can ramp fast, owns work from concept to delivery, and wants to grow into a larger role as the team expands.

Requirements:

• Strong background independently building software projects end to end
• Deep engineering fundamentals
• Proactive and passionate about technology
• Experienced using Claude/Codex as part of the development workflow
• We are language-agnostic - our current stacks is Node, Java, and Python but it's not a requirement
• Hands-on experience tinkering / building hardware devices a strong plus
• RF / radio-frequency experience and a PCB / electronics background a major plus
